“I didn’t want my image to specifically refer to the film, but rather wanted to explore how an illustration could show how a person’s quirks and idiosyncrasies that are specific to them are what make that person unique and beautiful and perfect. I decided to include text within the image in a way that was slightly incongruous to the rest of the image, as if the woman were being analysed, eluding to the fact that the quote was originally spoken by a psychologist.
