The Strangest of Places.

This rhyming children’s book is based in Dungeness. A vast tract of shingle beach dotted with strange dwellings, including a rubber house and two light houses. Old landlocked fishing boats , nets and rusting machines decay amongst the stones. It is all overshadowed by a Nuclear power station, an army of pylons and swathes of electricity cables. In damp weather the air tingles with electricity carried by an incessant wind. This strangeness of the place fires the imagination and anything is possible.
